Gleamry is a book tracker built for people who want a quieter corner of their phone: a place to log what they read, keep a shelf that feels like theirs, and watch a habit take shape without the noise of feeds and streaks-for-show.

What Gleamry is
Gleamry is a local-first iOS book tracker. Your library, sessions, and goals live on your iPhone. There is no account to create and no cloud you have to depend on just to open the app.
The signature moment is the bookshelf: arrange covers, add a little personality, and tap a book to see it slide off the shelf into something you can actually interact with.
Adding books your way
You can build your library in three ways:
- Search online for titles and covers
- Scan a barcode when you’re holding the book
- Enter a book by hand, including offline
Import from Goodreads when you’re ready to bring an existing shelf with you, and export a backup anytime so your history stays yours.
Reading as a habit
Gleamry is less about tallying titles for a leaderboard and more about noticing the days you showed up. Daily page goals, a yearly challenge, a reading calendar, and gentle progress charts are there to make the habit visible, not to shout at you.

We’re polishing the iPhone experience and will share more here as Gleamry gets closer to the App Store: shelf updates, reading tips, and notes from building a calm product in a noisy category.
